Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon 2 is a Possibility According to Michael Biehn
The absolutely mental Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon isn’t long out and lead actor Michael Biehn is claiming that another game featuring neon lights and laser-shooting dragons may be coming in the future.
On Xbox’s Major Nelson podcast, Larry Hryb spoke with the man behind the voice of Rex Colt and Biehn was pretty straight-forward with how creative director Dean Evans was feeling about a potential sequel:
“Dean called me last night, he was pretty jacked up. He was going into a meeting today to, you know, I think he wants to turn it into some sort of franchise. He’s got a sequel in mind.”
Ubisoft haven’t confirmed or denied any such rumours but this should definitely be taken with a grain of salt. Turning Blood Dragon into a series is certainly doable, but a one off seems more appropriate. Of course, we’ll have to see how it sells and well…money talks.
