Call of Duty Site Claims “The Ghosts Are Real”
Not particularly spooky, but after all of the Call of Duty: Ghosts talk from last week, it appears that Activision have all but announced it.
CallofDuty.com now displays the message:
“The Ghosts Are Real”
The Infinity Ward Twitter account has also tweeted a similar image to the one on the game’s official website, along with the text, “#soon”.
Expect a Call of Duty: Ghosts trailer, or some information to come out within the next couple of days, if not sooner.
As it appears that the powerful Modern Warfare suffix has been dropped – for whatever reason, it will be interesting to see if Ghosts can hit the same sales heights set by its predecessors. The Call of Duty name holds a ton of clout, but will the subtitle name change hurt Infinity Ward’s effort. Time will tell.
