Ubisoft has announced that the open beta for F2P title Anno Online is available now.
Developed by Ubisoft Blue Byte, this strategy sim will make players of previous games in the Anno series fell right at home with familiar features, whilst also bringing some new things to the table, too.
Anno Online is a browser based game that is currently in open beta for German speakers, but due to a good performance in the English closed beta, Ubisoft have decided to allow everyone a go, from today. All of those that participated in the closed beta will see accounts carry over and they’ll also receive a little in-game statue as a thank you for their participation.
Those that play through the first week of the open beta will receive another gift in the form of a premium ship which allows players to carry more freight than usual and it’s also quicker than regular boats.
To get in on the action, head on over to the official website and create an account.
