Since the launch debacle there have been a few other news stories that have taken the limelight off of EA and Maxis, which I’m sure they’re happy about. But, you gamers need some happiness too, right? How about some pollution free happiness in your SimCity?
Well, that’s where everyone’s favourite Japanese car manufacturer Nissan come in. The first bit of DLC for the 2013 reboot of SimCity has been announced and it is…eh…green! The Nissan Leaf Charging Station is your Sims one stop shop to recharge their electric vehicles. The post over on EA’s forums may have a little bit more info:
“In the case of your Sims, the Charging Station provides happiness to the Sims that use it and a onetime wave of happiness to the nearby businesses. Need another bonus? It produces no sewage or garbage. That’s right! Green indeed.”
This free sponsored item will be free to download for the next six months, so…get to Origin, you eager beavers!
SimCity is available now for Windows PC and will be released at a later date for Mac
