Square Enix has released the first multiplayer map pack for Tomb Raider on the Xbox 360.
The pack consists of three new maps avaiable to all multiplayer modes.
Despite the hugely positive reviews of the game’s single player the multiplayer has been heavily criticised for feeling rushed and tacked-on.
The first of the three maps is Scavenger Caverns,”an extensive subterranean network of caves used by the island’s scavengers as an underground prison”.
Second is Cliff Shantytown, which hides “some of the deadliest traps on the island”.
The third and final map is The Burning Village, an area engulfed in flame offering up “multiple ways to escape or engage your enemies”.
The Caves and Cliffs map pack is avaible exclusively for a limited time on Microsoft’s console for 400 MS points (£3.43).
No information was given regarding the eventual release of the content on PlayStation 3 and PC.
