KojiPro and Platinum’s collaboration proved to be a resounding success as Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance garnered critical acclaim across the board.
It’s been known for a while that some extra content was on the cards and today, Konami has outlined what future packs we can expect.
The first of three is the VR Missions pack which adds 30 missions to the those that already in-game, which will be available to purchase on March 13 in Europe. The other two focus on Wolf – Raiden’s robotic doggy pal in the the game, and Jetstream Sam – one of Raiden’s enemies in Metal Gear Rising, who is also the playable charcter in his DLC.
The VR Missions pack will be available on PS3 and 360 for £1.99/240 Microsoft Points, respectively. If your a fan of Platinum Games, MGR is definitely worth your time. Some MGS haters may be turned off because of the tie-in, but in all honesty, there’s very little Metal Gear lore referenced in the game. With more content on the horizon, there’s no better time to jump in to Platinum’s latest offering.
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is available now for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3
How's things? I'm the video guy and would love if you'd watch the things I do like Debatable and For Your Amusement. I spend the majority of my days explaining why The Wire is the greatest TV show ever and clamouring for a Pop-Punk revival(c. 1994) whilst singing in my best Axl Rose-esque voice. Do not say professional wrestling is “fake” around me or, he’ll bore you with, what I like to call, “the risks they take”. Henrik Larsson is my hero.
