After the announcement of PS4 last week, Sony mentioned a ton of third party developers that are working on software for the system. However, that list was a little off. Today, they have confirmed what studios have signed on the dotted line to develop for the forthcoming console.
In this revision, their North America and Japan lists have remained the same, whilst the amount of confirmed European based developers has been cut down from 53 to 30. Some of the big names that no longer appear on the list are Rovio (Angry Birds), Mojang (Minecraft) and Criterion Games (Need For Speed: Most Wanted).
In the new list, CD Project RED of Witcher fame and UK based studio Ninja Theory – who were behind the recent DmC reboot – are just two of the newly named studios on Sony’s European list of developers. You can see the full lot, below.
