Just Ask Water Put the Fate of Their Next Project in Your Hands
No one can deny the incredible popularity of the Oddworld games. From the very first time Abe set out to break the bonds of slavery and free his people from the horrors of RuptureFarms, the series’ inherent charm won gamers over.
In recent years development duties have been partly handed over from original creators Oddworld Inhabitants to West Yorkshire-based indie studio Just Add Water. Having handled the HD buffing of Stranger’s Wrath and Munch’s Odyssey, they’re next project is the remake of Abe’s Odyssey, subtitled New ‘n’ Tasty, out this year.
But for guidance on where to take the series next, Just Add Water have put it to you, the game-playing public, to advise them – by way of a poll on their website. The vote includes Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath 2, Oddworld: Abe’s Exoddus HD and “something on mobile” amongst other things.
