Tokyo Crash Mobs is the headline release this week on Nintendo’s online stores, with the action puzzler is backed up by a host of other new releases.
It’s Monday, and on Mondays we usually get a look at what Nintendo is throwing our way in terms of downloadable content. So, what have the big N got up their collective sleeves this week? How does three new 3DS eShop titles, one full Wii U disc title download and a Wii demo sound?
First up this week is action puzzler Tokyo Crash Mobs, developed by Nintendo, This unique action puzzler lets you throw or roll people into queues; match three of the same colour together and they disappear – moving you a step closer to the front. Play in Story Mode as would-be bargain hunters, Grace and Savannah, or Team Battle using the Nintendo 3DS gyro sensor to fend off shopaholic ninjas and UFOs. Sounds mental, and it looks mental.
Tokyo Crash Mobs is available from Wednesday for £5.39 from the Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS
Next up is from Cerasus.Media. You won’t be shocked to hear that it’s a Mahjong game, featuring over 300 levels, themed around a tail of ancient heroes, revealing ancient treasures and so on. It’s Mahjong, people, so if that is your thing, check out the trailer and go get it!
Mahjong Mysteries – Ancient Athena is available from Wednesday for £4.49 from the Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS
Zombie Skape is next up, from developer EnjoyUp Games for DS and 3DS. In this Zombie themed game, you control Skateboarder Ethan as he flees a Zombie invasion, saving as many girls as he can on the way. What a Gent!
Zombie Skape is available as a DSi Download for Nintendo DS and Nintendo 3DS for just £1.79
Nintendo’s new home console the Wii U isn’t completely neglected this week, with Take-Two releasing NBA 2K13 to the download wilderness. Basketball fans can pick it up from the comfort of their armchairs for £49.99.
Last up is a demo of Vampire Crystals from Shanblue Interactive, another Zombie game, in which you play a Vampire defending his world from the once-friendly Zombies. At least there is a twist, I suppose.
