God of War: Ascension – Zeus Multiplayer Trailer

God of War: Ascension - Zeus and Ares Multiplayer TrailersCheck out this awesome trailer showcasing some of the incredible multiplayer action in upcoming Sony-exclusive, God of War: Ascension.

This trailer is all about Zeus, father to Ares and big daddy of the Gods of Olympus. The trailer demonstrates how players who pledge their allegiance to Zeus will be able to command thunder and lightning in battle – as well as regenerate spent magic and increase the effectiveness of their team’s Godly powers. In short, Team Zeus is all about support, buffing their allies and using lightning to attack enemies from afar or stun any who come too close. A less offensive creed than Ares’, then, but likely to be a particularly effective allegiance in the team battles.

It’s a stark contrast to the Ares trailer we posted a while back, and together these two trailers are a great way to showcase the differing play-styles on offer, even though we’ve yet to see precisely what Hades and Poseidon will bestow upon their followers. The multiplayer beta is currently open to PS+ subscribers, giving you the chance to try out the powers of Zeus and Ares before the game launches in a few months’ time.

God of War Ascension will be available on PlayStation 3 in the UK on March 15th.
