Fans of 24 Rejoice as Annie Wersching’s Character in The Last of Us is Outlined
The Last of Us news just keeps coming in. Today, PlayStation Blog officially revealed the latest character in Naughty Dog’s hotly anticipated title; Tess. She was first seen in the story trailer for the game that was shown off during last week’s VGAs.
Tess is described as “Strong, smart, and street savvy” by Eric Monacelli, the studio’s Community Strategist. In the mo-cap video below, you can see that the woman behind the character is Annie Wersching. Instantly, fans of 24 will know Wersching as Renee Walker – one time beau of Jack Bauer, and all-round ass-kicking lady. The narrative in this post-apocalyptic tale is really shaping up well, as every trailer has shown.
She is also protagonist Joel’s “partner”. I’m guessing that’s life partner, as opposed to anything business related.
The Last of Us will be released on May 7, 2013 for PlayStation 3
