Next Tuesday sees the releases of a content pack for Media Molecule’s LittleBigPLanet 2 that allows you to use your PS Vita as a controller for your PlayStation 3.
In a move that sticks a sly two fingers up at the Wii U’s GamePad, Sony will allow you to utilise the Vita’s touchscreen and touch-pad to control Sackboy, also allowing for four-player games where one player uses the Vita and three others use standard controllers.
Similarly to the GamePad, the Vita’s screen will become a separate monitor, allowing you to see “special gaming action” on your handheld as you play on the big screen. New Cross-Controller levels will be included in the pack, as well as tools to create your own.
The pack will be available to download via PlayStation Network from December 19th, and is priced at £3.99.
LittleBigPlanet 2 is available now on PlayStation 3.
