Transformers Universe Beta Registration Now Open - Gameplay Trailer and Details Here!Given the recent success of High Moon’s Transformers: Fall of Cybertron and the anticipation around the upcoming Nintendo-exclusive Transformers Prime, it seems a perfect time for Jagex to launch their own massively multiplayer browser game set in Hasbro’s sci-fi universe.

In the aptly-named Transformers Universe, you’ll pick your warrior and choose whether to fight for the goodie-goodie Autobots or the dastardly Decepticons and then wage loud, shouty war on everyone else – all lovingly rendered in an advanced version of Jagex’s RuneScape engine.

In order to fine tune the experience, iron out the remaining kinks and get people’s lips flapping about it, Jagex have opened beta testing and are inviting members of the public to get involved and help them out during this crucial stage of development. In the meantime, here’s the first gameplay trailer so you can see how the gameworld will look like and what you be up to when it launches.

Transformers Universe is being developed by Jagex and us currently slated for a release in 2013.
