Rise for Freedom in the Assassin's Creed III Launch TrailerThere’s now only a week to go before the next instalment in Ubisoft’s incredible historical-slash-sci-fi franchise launches on PC and consoles, and anticipation couldn’t be higher.

Swapping Renaissance Italy with Revolution-era America and finally moving on from series poster-boy Ezio Auditore to newcomer Connor “Ratonhnhake:ton” Kenway, Assassin’s Creed III introduces a host of new gameplay features including dynamic hiding spots, hunting and skinning and exhilarating ship-to-ship combat in a 30 hour+ opus. And on top of that, we could be set to reach the conclusion of the extraordinary story of very ordinary bartender Desmond Miles, descendant of all three Assassin’s Creed protagonists and would-be saviour of humanity.
