Hi there listener, come on in! Episode 34, which we’re calling “I melted the battery and luckily, it didn’t explode” has the two brothers from other mothers continuing their discussion on downloadable games and digital distribution after last week’s chat on Microsoft and Nintendo’s models.
It’s time to discuss PlayStation’s efforts. In 2006, Sony decided they needed something in their PlayStation consoles to battle Xbox LIVE, and that was PlayStation Network. No fees, less complicated codes to redeem and real money pricing. Huzzah! But, us Europeans sometimes get the wrong end of the stick and it has been the source of some “terrorist attacks”. It’s not all rosy in PlayStation’s Online garden, however the games it has given us have been a delight – for the most part. Additionally, like Nintendo last week, iOS’ App Store gets an obligatory nod at the conclusion.
What should the guys talk about next week, tell our duo in the comments section below, or via their Twitter account, @SaintGreensie
