FIFA 13 Demo Was Downloaded by Nearly Two Million in First Three Days
Imagine that, FIFA is popular! Yes, that’s right. In the first three days of the demo being released to the public, 1.99 million people in 73 countries downloaded Sepp Blatter Football 2013. On PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC, 29 per cent more played the FIFA 13 demo, than played the FIFA 12 demo, in the exact same time frame.
EA has also said that 875,000 have pre-ordered the game – again, up 37 per cent in Europe, and a whopping 62 per cent in the States.
In Europe, players will be able to access FIFA 13 six days early, through the EA Sports Season Ticket program. North American counterparts will have the opportunity to start downloading the game four days prior to the US release date. On top of that, if you were one of those that enjoyed Ultimate Team, you can get the jump on your buddies by starting to build your team via easportsfootball.com, beginning September 18, if you registered and created a security question in FIFA Ultimate Team 12 between March 7th and Sept 7th.
You can check out our preview of the game while you wait for the game to arrive in about two weeks time!
FIFA 13 will be released on the 28th September for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, Wii, PlayStation 2, PSP, PlayStation Vita, 3DS, iOS and PC
