Brand New Of Orcs and Men Screenshots Revealed
We like idea of the oppressed rising up against their oppressors, facing adversity and prosecution with nothing but brazen courage and steely-eyed determination – but when the oppressed are big ugly orcs and the oppressors are, well, us, who the hell do we root for?
Such is the premise of Cyanide and Spider’s action-RPG Of Orcs and Men, set in a battle-scarred kingdom ruled over by the brutal Empire of Man who have spent decades killing or enslaving the once-proud Orcs. Playing as Arkail the warrior and Styx the goblin rogue, you’ll set out on a mission to strike at the very heart of your enemy by murdering the Emperor.
The two leads are designed to work in tandem, as Arkail employs brute strength and Styx uses stealth abilities and dark magic to acchieve his ends. Separate skill trees will give you control over their progression throughout the game.
As the new screenshots show, the world is a colourful, varied place, featuring shadow-haunted forests, torchlit dungeons and eerie catacombs, and will pit you against a number of deadly enemies, human and otherwise, in your quest to free your people from oppression and slavery.

Of Orcs and Men will be published by Focus Home Interactive and is being co-developed by Cyanide and Spiders. It will launch on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on October 12th.
