Blood Knights "Alysa" Character Trailer It being 2012 and all, we’re not quite sure whether to be slightly embarrassed by the gratuity of Deck 13’s latest trailer for their cooperative vampire hack ‘n’ slash, Blood Knights, or to just laugh it off as an ironic joke. Either way, the announcement in the press release that they are “bringing back Miss Sexy” is at least indicative of a sense of humour.

For those of you who don’t know, Blood Knights is a fantasy action game that takes place during a war between vampires and humans. When circumstances spiral out of their control, scantily-clad Vampiress Alysa and Hawke-lookalike mortal Jeremy must join forces to confront their mutual enemies.

You’ll be able to control both Alysa and Jeremy in either solo or 2-player coop, in a campaign that has more than a faint whiff of Hunted: Demon’s Forge about it. For all its over-the-top sexualisation and wise-cracking dialogue, it does have the potential to be not-half-bad.

Check out the trailer below to see Alysa, ahem, vamp it up in an outfit apparently made solely out of leather belts and kick seven shades of snot out of her enemies with her trusty crossbow.

Blood Knights is being developed by Deck 13 and published by dtp entertainment, and will be available for download on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on October 31st.
