Ever since I can remember I’ve been playing Worms games, I sunk many hours into Worms United when that came out (a collection which consisted of the first Worms game and some content that these days would be considered DLC) and I grew up not far away from the Team 17 offices when I was still living in the glorious North of our country; I even got to meet some of the people there when I first started to work in the games industry. Despite my excitement for the franchise over the years, I’d be lying if I said that it was always a little sad to see the developer put out essentially the same game over and over again with just a few minor tweaks.
That’s far from the case this time with Worms Revolution.
It’s a revolution by name, and in terms of its gameplay, but instead of talking about it why don’t we show you the first 20 minutes of Worms: Revolution; complete with commentary from the ever-present Don Keystone. Please note that this is not from the final build of the game, and as such should be seen as a preview!
Worms: Revolution is due to be released on October 10th, 2012 on PlayStation Network, Xbox LIVE Arcade and Windows PC.
