SimCity is Coming to Mac in February 2013
EA and Maxis have revealed that the forthcoming, highly anticipated reboot of SimCity is being released for Mac in February 2013.
Mac is fast becoming a hot zone for gaming, with more and more products being released on it, far quicker than in years gone by.
This version of SimCity has been developed by the creative team at Maxis and will be available as a digital download through EA’s Origin service.
Senior Vice President and General Manager of EA’s Maxis Label, Lucy Bradshaw says:
Whether you owned a Macintosh or a DOS PC, we all have memories of laying down zones and reticulating splines from our youth, to the millions of SimCity fans out there, we’ve been listening and can proudly say that your calls have been answered. SimCity has a long legacy on the Mac and the team at Maxis is ensuring that it will be the deepest, richest and most accessible SimCity game yet.
