Microsoft Change Logo For The First Time In 25 Years
There are some logos that we just know. One of those logos is Apple. Those living under rock even know what it looks like. However, their biggest rival has never had anything that stood out quite like the fruit.
Today, Microsoft has shown off their new logo which sees the coloured Windows sit right next. Microsoft devices have been very independent in of one another in design for years. Whether it was the Xbox, the Zune, Windows Phone or something else, there was never a branding that said, “This is a Microsoft device”.
As Windows 8 is coming later this year and they are keen for some uniformity with their Metro look, a logo redesign also seems appropriate. You can see the new logo do some swanky stuff that many inanimate objects cannot, in the trailer below.
