Crash Bandicoot Rumoured to be in PS All-Stars
The little orangey dog thing that was perceived as Sony’s original mascot could be making a return in PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale. On Twitter, there was a conversation between a Crash fan and Activision’s Support account. In the now deleted chat – which one of the quick fingered NeoGAF users screengrabbed – it seems that the Tazmanian devil-like chap could be one of the fighters in SuperBot Entertainment’s upcoming brawler.
Crash is currently a property of Activision, but he is synonymous with the PlayStation brand since 1995. Along with Spyro and Lara Croft, Crash Bandicoot was a staple of Sony’s marketing and was positioned in a mascot role, without ever being truly recognised as one.
This is all rumour at the minute, of course, but I know his inclusion would please many people – myself included.
