Newest LEGO game announced, based on the LOTR trilogy
The LEGO series of games have brought numerous licensed properties into their blocky world. Batman, Harry Potter, Indiana Jones, amongst others have all been the face of different LEGO video games. Now, you can add Frodo and the lads to that mix, as Warner Bros, TT Games and The LEGO Group have announced LEGO The Lord of the Rings will be coming to PC, 360, PS3, Vita, Wii, DS and 3DS this Autumn.
The game will encompass all three films based on the J.R.R Tolkien books. It looks like the game will have a co-op aspect to it, as the press release reads, “Now the entire family can team up in pairs as adorable LEGO The Lord the Rings minifigures to experience countless dangers, solve riddles and battle formidable foes on their journey to Mount Doom”.
There is a massive list of playable characters that you’ll recognise from the films/books like, Frodo the Hobbit, Aragorn the Ranger, Gandalf the Wizard, Legolas the Elf, Gimli the Dwarf, Boromir a Man of Gondor, and Frodo’s Hobbit friends Sam, Merry and Pippin

The LEGO games have always been surprisingly solid and because of that, have a large following. This latest announcement will please the masses of block loving folk out there I’m sure.
