E3 2012: Castlevania Lords of Shadow Swings across to 3DS
MercuryStream and Konami got their first chance to show some footage from their Castlevania: Lords of Shadow spin-off on 3DS at E3. Subtitled Mirror of Fate, the game is a sequel to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 title, and will bridge the gap in the storyline between that game and its sequel, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2.
The title will feature both traditional series protagonist Simon Belmont, and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night character Alucard. It will be interesting to see how the two are both featured. The game will also make use of the 3DS Streetpass system, allowing players to transfer information from the game just by passing one another. What this will effect in-game has yet to have been announced.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate does not yet have a set release date but it will be coming this year exclusively for Nintendo 3DS.
