Portal 2 Perpetual Testing Initiative Out Now

You can download the first major update to Valve’s stunning Portal 2, with the Perpetual Test Initiative DLC.

Available for both PC and Mac the Perpetual Testing Initiative will allow players to easily create, share, and play Portal 2 puzzles. The Initiative comes with a simplified puzzle maker that will enable players to create puzzles without ever leaving game.

Players will be able to directly publish maps to Steam Workshop via the puzzle maker, they’ll also able to rate other peoples creations ensuring the most creative and innovative puzzles will be seen. Selected puzzles will automatically be downloaded and installed inside Portal 2.

With the entire Steam community now able to easily create new puzzles for Portal 2, it seems one of 2011’s best games is set to get even better in 2012. If for some reason you still haven’t picked up Portal 2, you can grab it on Steam now for just £5.09!
