Men in Black survey reveals British belief in Aliens!
Do you believe in Aliens? Well, you’re not alone ( not in that way). According to a survey commissioned by Activision to promote the release of Men in Black: Alien Crisis on Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii today, 62 % of the 1,089 respondents believe in Aliens.
To put that into comparison, that’s more than double the number of respondents who said they believed in a God. This cynical lack of belief with regards to a God also spreads to the government as well, with over half of respondents believing that the Government was hiding information with regards to the existence of Alien life from the public.
Things get a bit more bonkers after that, with 29% of respondents believing that Alien lifeforms already secretly live alongside us, with some even going as far to say that the unpopular British Prime Minister, David Cameron, is the most likely state leader to be an Alien in disguise. Barack Obama, the current United States president, was also in the top 5.
Some British cities are also claimed to be ‘UFO hotspots’, with Edinburgh, Cardiff, Leeds, Norwich and Nottingham all having relatively high sighting rates. However, Plymouth is the Alien capital of the UK, with 19% of respondents from Plymouth claiming to have seen a UFO.
All in all, there appears to be a latent belief in the unknown here in the UK, and with that comes positivity. With over 25% of respondents saying they’d be excited if Alien life contacted us, and 33% saying it would advance the Human Race. Â What do you think? Do Aliens exist? Tell me in the comments below.
