Matt Berry and Dean Wilkinson Working Together on Worms RevolutionThe I.T Crowd, in my humble opinion, is one of the better British sitcoms to have been produced in the last number of years. But that’s probably a no brainer I guess. Well, if you’ve never seen Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace, get yourself on that. That’s one of the hidden gems from British comedy in the last 10 years. One thing that these two shows have in common is Richard Ayoade…but I’m here to tell you about Matt Berry. Matt has prominent roles in both of these TV classics…and he also appeared in The Mighty Boosh.

The man with the velvety, booming voice is to play the role of Don Keystone, a wildlife documentary maker who narrates in the upcoming Worms Revolution game from Team 17. Dean Wilkinson, the BAFTA award winning writer, has penned all of Berry’s dialogue. Wilkinson has worked on LittleBigPlanet and LittleBigPlanet 2, writing for Stephen Fry, who plays the narrator role in the Media Molecule games. Wilkinson also wrote for Ant & Dec on SMTV Live for 7 years, which was a staple of my own childhood.

The Worms games have always included humour – even if the dialogue within is minimal or non existent. These two men are fantastic additions that instantly make this game that bit more anticipated.
