Hope News Times Issue #2 Brings the Latest Hitman: Absolution Screenshots
The second issue of the Hope News Times – the local newspaper for the in-game town of Hope, South Dakota – from Hitman: Absolution has now been released by IO Interactive. The newspaper will keep fans of the game up-to-date with the goings-on in the local area and how our favourite assassin, Agent 47, is connected with it.
In this issue, we see that a local resident – a childhood Leukemia survivor – has suffered a horrible accident where a regular fence has become electrified, leading to his death. Is this really just an accident, or is it the work of a certain Hitman? All is revealed, as IO Interactive are releasing reveal screenshots to accompany each issue, the day after the paper is published. In the new screenshots this week, we can see that accident killings are well and truly back in this game, as the image shows Agent 47 sabotaging the fence.
Setting up accidents to kill your targets was one of the most fun ways to commit a murder in Hitman: Blood Money, so it is great to see this feature making a return in the new game. Couple this with the latest gameplay trailer to be revealed, and our excitement for Hitman: Absolution couldn’t be much greater.
