Xbox LIVE Newsbeat 3rd – 16th April 2012: Fez Jumps onto Xbox & Shoot Some Hoops with Kinect Sports

In the latest fortnightly Newsbeat update for Xbox LIVE Arcade there are quite a few interesting new titles and add-ons for gamers to get excited about. First of all is the long-awaited release of multi-plane platformer Fez. The game has been in development for a very long time, but it looks like those with patience will be rewarded as the title is shaping up very nicely.

Sports fans can also look forward to the new Basketball add-on for Kinect Sports 2. The first update for the Kinect Sports titles that actually adds a completely new event to the game. And another interesting release of note – after Kalypso Games cancelled the retail release of Jurassic Park: The Game in Europe, the title will finally be coming to Europe via Xbox Games on Demand this month. Check out our review of the full season here. On top of the new games, SNK and Activision are both having special sales, where content such as the King of Fighters games and lots of Call of Duty content will be offered up at heavily reduced prices. Also be sure not to miss the Rockstar Max Payne sale, where they will also be offering discounts on content related to the bullet-time hero.
