Konami have just unveiled new screenshots for the upcoming Vita version of Metal Gear Solid HD Collection.
The HD collection is made up of two beloved classics, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. Both games have received upgraded graphics and optimized controls like touchscreen capabilities.
Trophies can also be shared with the PS3 version of the game, via Hideo Kojima’s Transfarring system that allows for cross-platform save data.
The Vita version is not identical to its PS3 counterpart, it lacks the HD version of PSP title Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. This is probably due a memory shortage on the Vita game cards.
Pricing has yet to be announced but with the console version already getting cheaper, the Vita edition may be a tough sell to a lot gamers.
