Rayman Origins Makes the Jump to PC

Rayman Origins Makes the Jump to PC We at GodisaGeek loved Rayman Origins – check out our full review here – so it makes us very happy to announce that the game has now made its way onto PC, and is being released in Europe today.

The game is somewhat of a throwback to the platform games of old, being presented in a hand-drawn 2D format. It brings back many favourite Rayman characters from earlier installments in the series, but it also very much takes the franchise into High Definition, what with the beautiful backgrounds and fantastic animation. The whole experience is like playing through a living, breathing cartoon.

The title also jumps on the current trend for co-operative play – as you can be joined by up to three friends, for drop-in, drop-out multiplayer madness across sixty stages – with many secrets and unlockables to discover. The game is at retail, or can be downloaded from the Ubishop or other reputable E-Shops.

If you are on the fence, check out our First Look footage which shows you the first eight minutes of the game:

Rayman Origins is available now on PC, Xbox 360, Playstation 3, PlayStation Vita and Nintendo Wii. A version is currently in the work for Nintendo 3DS, with an expected release date of June 8th 2012.
