Special Edition & 4 Disc Collector’s Edition of Alan Wake on PC Detailed

Alan Wake came to Steam over a week ago and did incredibly well. The boxed version of the game was also announced to be coming to PC and we have all the details of the special edition and the collector’s edition for you. Nordic Games have announced that the Collector’s Edition of Alan Wake on PC is a bumper 4 disc edition that is packed with additional content for fans of the fiction scribe. Disc one has the game and the DLC packs, The Signal and The Writer. It also has commentary from the team at Remedy about the game, which is a really cool feature. The second disc is the official 13 track soundtrack for the game.

The third and fourth discs are where fans of the series will really get their kicks. The stuff that is exclusive to those that get the collector’s edition contain many documentaries such as; History of Remedy, Making of Alan Wake, Making of a Thriller, Building the Technology, music video “War” by Poets of the Fall, various trailers for the game and it’s DLC, and a clip of the storyboarding of the game that includes concept art.

Philipp Brock, PR and marketing at Nordic Games said, “Nordic Games is committed to offering a high quality Alan Wake release at an affordable price, and this update reiterates our dedication and passion for the retail launch on PC…Simply put, there’s far too much quality bonus content to fit onto just one disc.”

The special edition of Alan Wake will cost £29.99, while the Collector’s Edition will be priced at £34.99. The game is set for release on the 2nd March and by the sounds of things, is really a must have for Alan Wake aficionados.
