Mostly ‘Armless Title NeverDead Gets New Screenshots
Even though Neverdead was first announced by Konami way back at E3 2010, the title is only just going to see the light of day in February this year. The game has garnered quite some attention over the years due to the “unusual” gameplay featured within.
You see, the main character – Bryce Boltzmann – cannot die. He can be blown up, decapitated, torn limb from limb, and he will still come back. This is probably the first game where if your protagonist has his head ripped off, you can control the severed head, and roll it around in-game as you try to piece your body back together. You can even intentionally sever your head so you can reach small and difficult to access locations with ease. You could also choose to beat you enemies with one of your own legs, or set up one of your arms, with an Uzi in hand, as a remote gun turret with which to take out your enemies.
The game obviously doesn’t take itself very seriously, but the team at Rebellion – who are working with Konami and former Metal Gear Solid dev team member Shinta Nojiri – have unleashed a new set of images from the game, that show some of the possible action that Bryce will find himself involved in. Check out all of the new screenshots below:
