To-Fu 2 is Now Free in Celebration of Runner Up Award in Apple’s Game of the Year
Apple have announced their iOS games of the year. In the US, Tiny Tower picked up the crown with Tiny Wings and BMX Touchgrind as runners up and in Europe, Tiny Wings picked up the top spot with Tiny Tower and To-Fu 2 picking up the runners up medals.
HotGen are celebrating To-Fu 2’s success by selling the app for absolutely nothing on the App Store. Yep, the UK developer is offering you one of the best iOS apps for free. This tops off a great year for the studio that had the game featured as Game of the Week in 141 countries 3 months ago.
“In ‘To-Fu 2’, players are able to launch To-Fu faster than ever before with the use of his special new Super Ping which can be charged up and released. Use this awe-inspiring new move to break obstacles and speed through difficult areas in a blur. Alongside this, there are new obstacle types including the addition of 45 degree corners – meaning that To-Fu can now rebound around corners – as well as may others.”
With 120 levels and no virtual d-pad – yes! – you have a fantastic iOS game here. When the games industry gives the consumer free stuff it’s always great. It’s even better when the free stuff is quality like To-Fu 2.
