New Images Released for “Yesterday”

Given the time of year, there’s a fair chance you are reading this having consumed some alcohol, but no, we’re not trying to confuse you. Pendulo Studios have released some new images for their upcoming adventure game, called Yesterday.

Pendulo Studios will be best known for their (million selling) “Runaway” trilogy, but are veering away from comedy and are going for a dark thriller adventure game with Yesterday.

These four new screenshots reveal John Yesterday, the amnesiac who is one of the three playable characters and has been dragged into a story (thanks to his amnesia) where New York City beggars are disappearing one by one, only to be found burnt alive. All the while, random people are finding Y-shaped scars on the palm of their hand, yet there seems to be no connection and the police and media are ignoring it.

As you can see from the screenshots, the tone of the game does indeed look fairly dark and moody, but the art design looks really nice too. What do you think of the images? Let us know in the comments section below.
