Free PES 2012 DLC to update Squads & add extra Content
The ever-changing and constantly-evolving world of Football is definitely difficult to keep up with. For example, the transfer market is always in flux and players move from one team to another like mercenaries for hire. Add to that the last-minute rush at the end of the transfer window, where a hundred-and-one players try to negotiate themselves a better deal or a big-money move, and Football game-makers must get a real headache when finalising squad lists. Arsenal fans might also get a headache if they were to find Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri still on the teamsheet when they boot up their copy of PES 2012.
To try and avoid this thorny issue, Konami have announced plans to release a free update, available for download upon release of the new Pro Evolution Soccer title, that will update the squad line-ups of one-hundred and sixty clubs in the game. As well as the players at the squads being altered, the individual player’s statistics and abilities will be tweaked and changed, in order to better match their abilities in the real footballing world just that little bit more accurately. And that’s not all – gamers can look forward to adding thirteen new styles of football boots to their editing options, including ones from famous Nike and Puma, for instance, whilst twenty-nine club strips are going to be updated, in order to match the re-designed jerseys for the current season.
So if you are buying PES 2012 next week, be sure to have your machine connected to the internet when you first boot up the title, so you can benefit from the free update.
PES 2012 is due out on October 14th for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. The PlayStation 2 and PSP versions will be released on October 28th, with the Nintendo Wii version shipping on November 4th.
