See Ni No Kuni in Action in New Trailer
When Level 5 released a batch of new images from their Studio Ghibli collaboration – Ni No Kuni (also known as The Another World) – last week, you might have been mistaken for thinking the game was an animated cartoon. Well prepare to see the game in action, as the company have now released a full trailer for the PlayStation 3 version of their game – which shows off a whole load of in-game footage, as well as some of the lovely cutscenes. Although in Japanese, the trailer gives us a taste of in-game combat, as well as letting us see some of both the friends and enemies we will meet during the adventure.
The blend of the Studio Ghibli animation style and the gaming machinations looks excellent, and the world that has been created appears lush and exciting. We hope to hear soon whether the game will be making it outside of Japan – but with the huge worldwide appeal of Studio Ghibli, it would seem silly for it not to see a North American and European release.

Ni No Kuni will be released in Japan for PlayStation 3 on November 17th. The Nintendo DS version was released in Japan in December 2010. There are no confirmed US or UK release dates for either version as of yet.
