Meet The Deckers in the new Tron-Inspired Saints Row Trailer
In the new Saints Row: The Third video that THQ and Volition have released today – entitled Deckers.Die – the Third City Saints meet a new cyber gang named the Deckers. Run by self-proclaimed virtual god Matt Miller, the group seem to be more than a little fond of the style and design of the cult Disney Sci-Fi movie Tron. But then things start to get very weird and your very own hacker, Kinzie Kensington comes up with a way that the Saints can enter the network of the Deckers and wage a virtual war in cyberspace. Cue retro Tank battles and lots of neon lights as you try to gain superiority over yet another competing gang.
The Deckers… elite cybercriminals… hackers… unrelenting online gamers. Their next target: the Third Street Saints. Upon arriving in Steelport, the Saints find their bank accounts wiped out by a Deckers cyber-attack. For the Saints, there’s only one thing left to do: hack into the Deckers user-net, engage in their own brand of cyberbullying, and shut down the Deckers’ network… permanently. But in this world, Deckers mastermind Matt Miller is a virtual god, capable of altering physics, setting firewalls, and unleashing his own deadly, maxed-out avatar. Are you ready to f*** s*** up in virtual reality?
