Gears of War’s Marcus Fenix to Appear in Mortal Kombat in the Future?
A Twitter conversation between Netherrealm’s Ed Boon and Epic’s Cliff Bleszkinski has (possibily) opened up the possibilty of a Gears of War character appearing in a Mortal Kombat game in the future.
Responding to a fan asking about which console exclusive character he would have chosen for Mortal Kombat on Xbox 360, Boon said “I wudda wanted Marcus Fenix from Gears.”
Interestingly, Epic’s Cliff Bleszinski replied to the tweet, saying “Hit me up about that!”
God of War’s Kratos is an exclusive playable character for Mortal Kombat on the PlayStation 3, but while COG involvement in the Xbox 360 version is not impossible, it would be sensible not to get too carried away at this point. Though it would be pretty amazing, wouldn’t it?
