New Prototype 2 Trailer from Gamescom 2011

If you wished that you could’ve gone to Gamescom because you are desperate to see new footage of Prototype 2 then don’t panic, as God is a Geek is here to help! This new trailer plays out as an initial briefing video for the covert military unit known as Blackwatch, which goes through the unit’s history of when and why it was created and also explains the events from the first Prototype game to remind/introduce you to the the original protagonist, Alex Mercer.

The trailer then sets up the current situation for Prototype 2, explaining that Manhattan has been divided into three zones, Green, Yellow and Red and that Mercer is occupying the latter zone, which is also occupied by one Sgt James Heller, a man that blames Mercer for the death of his family but also has been infected with the virus that runs rampant through the Red zone, but has simular powers to his creator!
