SEGA Announce Release Dates For Upcoming Titles
What appears to be the first mature-rated Kinect title, SEGA’s first-person survival horror Rise of Nightmares, has been given a new release window by the publisher, as well as a handful of other big titles that have had their dates announced. Rise of Nightmares should be bringing it’s disturbing brand of horror into your living rooms in September 2011, with no firm date as of yet. In the game, players will take on the role of an American tourist, whose wife has been kidnapped by a mad scientist. Making your way through his creepy mansion, you will encounter many strange and twisted foes and scenes. Using an array of melee weapons, dismemberment and decapitations will be common.
Moving on from gore and adult themes, we head to the more pressing matter of Wimbledon, and with it, the annual release of new tennis games. Delayed slightly, the PC version of Virtua Tennis 4 will be catching up with its console compatriots and hitting stores next week, on July 8th. And staying on the subject of big British sporting events, with the London 2012 Olympics just around the corner and edging ever-closer, SEGA have also confirmed that the Wii version of Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games will launch in November this year, with the 3DS version of it coming a little later in February.
Mario & Sonic at the Beijing Olympics and Mario & Sonic at the Winter Olympics are both out now for Wii and DS, and were both huge hits. Virtua Tennis 4 is also available now on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii.
