PopCap Charity Art Auction Includes Plants Vs. Zombies Items

PopCap Games are currently running a series of auctions of original game artwork, art inspired by their games and other PopCap related items, with all the proceeds being donated to two charities: SpecialEffect in the UK and Starlight Children’s Foundation in the US. This week is the second wave of auctions, which is set to run from June 21st until June 28th, with one more week of auctions to follow afterwards. PopCap fans will be able to view some of the UK and US pieces being auctioned, amongst others, at top London skate wear shop, Mash Clothing at 73 Oxford Street, London W1D 2EP.

The second wave of the auction includes:

·         Lex Bookworm original sketch on paper. Starting bids for these items range from $1 (dollar) to $350 (dollar)

·         Plants vs. Zombies ceramic bowl and mug set

·         Plants vs. Zombies Organ Grinder Zombie concept sketch on wood

·         Plants vs. Zombies Peashooter costume

·         Plants vs. Zombies XBLA player house concept sketch on canvas

·         Zuma Tiki Gods original concept sketch on paper

There are all of these items, amongst many other PopCap-related goodies. So get bidding for a good cause, and help PopCap Games reach their fundraising target, which will help a lot of seriously ill and disabled children and young people.
