Five Extra Cars To Feature In Forza 4 Limited Edition Retail Packs, Plus Box Art
After being announced at E3 in 2010, Forza Motorsport 4 is going to get a full reveal at this years conference in L.A. To whet eager racing fans’ appetites for Forza 4, which is due to implement Microsoft’s Kinect technology, the official cover art for the game has been revealed. The cover features the gorgeous Ferrari 458 Italia, which is among a plethora of cars playable throughout the upcoming racer.
In addition to this, lucky retail customers that manage to get their hands on certain copies of Forza 4 will receive an exclusive in-game car pack. Microsoft also teased a VIP collectors pack for the avid racer in their press release.
The five cars featured in the retail exclusive in-game car pack, which will be limited to the first production run, are as follows:
- Ford Mustang GT Coupe 1965
- Koenigsegg Agera 2011
- Lexus SC300 1997
- RUF RGT-8 2011
- Tesla Roadster Sport 2011
Those of you that are lucky enough to pick up the exclusive cars are in for a treat. Those that aren’t will have to be content with the pretty box art, which Dan Greenawalt, Creative Director at Turn 10 Studios speaks very highly of. “The Ferrari 458 Italia was a perfect fit for the ‘Forza Motorsport 4’ hero car. It has the ideal blend of style, creative flair, cutting-edge technology and power that makes it just as gorgeous to look at as it is thrilling to take to the track,” said Greenawalt. “We’ve worked closely with our partners at Ferrari to bring this amazing car to life in your living room.”
What do you make of the box art? Is there any other car you would have preferred to be featured?
Forza 4 will be available this Autumn exclusively for Xbox 360.
