New Fear 3 Multiplayer Trailer: Soul King
After showing off a trailer of one of their other Fear 3 multiplayer modes – F*cking Run – last week, Day 1 Studios and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have today unveiled a second trailer, this time to give us a glimpse of the mode entitled Soul King. The other multiplayer modes that will be included are called Contraction and Soul Survivor. We at Godisageek have previously covered the different multiplayer variations and explained a brief outline of what players will be able to experience in each of the new modes – read about each different style of play here.
A representative from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment explains what players can expect when playing the Soul King mode: “In this cutthroat mode, players are thrust into the most competitive multiplayer experience in the game, with the goal of harvesting the most number of souls before time runs out. Players will start out as a spectre, capable of possessing enemies to gain the skills and weapons of the body they inhabit. While possessing a body, players will be able to collect souls through killing enemies, however, will need to constantly battle other AI enemies and the three other players eager to take them down and steal their harvested souls.”

F.E.A.R. 3 will be released for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on the 27th May 2011.
