Xbox LIVE – The People’s Choice Royal Wedding Dress Revealed!
Ever since we posted the original news post about the light-hearted poll to choose Kate and Wills’ wedding attire, we’re sure you’ve been waiting with bated breath to here what the results would be.
The wait is finally over!
With worldwide fascination and speculation over what the future princess will wear on her much anticipated wedding day, Xbox 360 is proud to reveal the official dress of the Royal Bride and Groom, Kate and Wills—as Xbox LIVE Avatars.
The Xbox LIVE dashboard recently allowed both Xbox LIVE Gold and free members to vote for their favourite wedding outfit for the Royal couple, from a selection of four very different dress options. Almost 50,000 Xbox LIVE members took part in the light-hearted poll, and we can now reveal that the traditional fairy tale white wedding attire won, stealing the nation’s hearts with over 58% of the votes. In second place was the ‘black-tie’ dress, third place was the ‘Scottish Highlands’ attire and in last place was the ‘alternative cocktail’ wear.
I’m sure the people over at Xbox LIVE would love it if the royal couple took their fashion advice from them, but I’m sure that it will have no bearing on the actual Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Even if they are the best dressed Avatars the LIVE community has ever seen.
