In celebration of his seventy-fifth birthday, Harmonix are bringing a new three-pack of songs from “The Voice”, Roy Orbison to Rock Band. And prepare to ask yourself, “are you ready to rock?”, as on top of that track pack, fans of over-the-top, outrageous rockers KISS also have cause for celebration, as live versions of two of their most popular hits also make their way into the Rock Band Music Store. Both KISS and Roy Orbison already have a healthy number of their tracks available in the store for purchase.

The Roy Orbison: 75th Birthday Track Pack will feature the songs “Blue Bayou”, “Dream Baby (How Long Must I Dream)” and “Only the Lonely (Know the Way I Feel)”. Six other Roy Orbison tracks can also be found as existing DLC, featuring some of his biggest hits, such as; “Pretty Woman” and “In Dreams”. The two KISS tracks to get the live makeover are “Rock and Roll All Nite (Live)” and “Strutter (Live)”. As is the case with Roy Orbison, fans of the group have been well-supported as there are another four KISS tracks in the Music Store already for your downloading pleasure, and another can be found on the disc for Rock Band 1.

These tracks will be available for Xbox 360, Wii and PlayStation 3 on April 26th, although in Europe they will come to PlayStation 3 on April 27th (PSN status allowing). They will cost £0.99 (160 Microsoft Points / 200 Wii Points) per song. The Roy Orbison tracks will also be available as the “Roy Orbison: 75th Birthday Pack” which will cost £2.49 (440 Microsoft Points / 550 Wii Points). The Pro Guitar and Pro Bass upgrades for “Only the Lonely (Know the Way I Feel)” and “Rock and Roll All Nite (Live)” will cost an additional £0.59 (80 Microsoft Points/100 Wii Points). All tracks are original artist recordings.
