Mortal Kombat Shang Tsung Character Vignette

The guys and gals over at NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have released another vignette today, in the build up to the long awaited arrival of Mortal Kombat. This time, the character in question is the soul sucking shape shifter that goes by the name of Shang Tsung.

This vignette will give viewers an insight into Shang Tsung’s character and explain how he pledged his life to Shao Kahn, and in turn, hosting the last Nine Mortal Kombat tournaments.

Mortal Kombat is the most brutal installment of the legendary fighting game to date for release on the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft in 2011. The game is being developed by NetherRealm Studios, led by Mortal Kombat creator and creative director Ed Boon.

Mortal Kombat will be released on the 21st of April, for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 (with exclusive playable Kratos character).
