Epic Release Gear Of War 3 Multiplayer Video Diary

With the long-awaited Gears of War 3 Multiplayer Beta imminent, Cliffy B and Epic have put together a new ViDoc trailer, entitled “Making ‘Gears 3’: Dedicated Execution.” This new video features interviews with the development team working on the game, who give insights into how they crafted the title and improved the multiplayer experience over the previous entries in the series. The video also shows off a lot of brand-new in-game footage of previously unseen maps and a series of explosive multiplayer games in action.

Tune in to hear Epic’s Creative Director Cliff Bleszinski, Executive Producer Rod Fergusson, Senior Gameplay Designer Lee Perry, and other lead developers discuss how they’ve designed dynamic new modes like Team Deathmatch to deliver explosively fun multiplayer experience aimed to please the Gears faithful, as well as newcomers to the franchise.

Powered by dedicated servers, “Gears of War 3” offers the series’ most feature-packed Versus multiplayer experience yet, and raises the bar with new game types, weapons, visceral executions, playable characters, squad communication tools, a deep player rewards system, and more. New players will enjoy the finely balanced gameplay and streamlined game types, which make “Gears of War 3” deeper and more accessible than ever before, allowing anyone to instantly jump into the action.

The Gears of War 3 Multiplayer BETA goes public on April 25th and will continue until May 15th. Gamers in the UK must pre-order the game from GAME or Gamestation in order to recieve a BETA key. “Bulletstorm: Epic Edition” owners will also get access to the BETA, and will actually be able to play a week earlier, with their access beginning on April 18th when they put the Bulletstorm disc into their machine. So fire up your chainsaws and get ready to enter the fight.

Gears of War 3 is scheduled for a worldwide release on September 20th 2011, exclusively for the Xbox 360. It will be made available in three distinct editions – Standard (£49.99), Limited (£59.99) and Epic (£99.99).
