Doctor Lautrec And The Forgotten Knights Trailer
Right. Let’s get this out of the way right now. Doctor Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights is not, NOT, a copy of the Professor Layton series. Yes, both games features rogue academics solving puzzles and mysteries but Doctor Lautrec is a doctor, not a professor, which makes the games totally different.
Similarities to other scholarly adventurers aside, Doctor Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights has announced itself with a trailer that shows the good doctor has a couple of tricks up his sleeve to distinguish himself from his rival, non-mustachioed, eggheads.
As well as puzzle elements and cartoon visuals, the game appears to include isometric sections that add an adventuring element and, presumably, take advantage of the 3DS’s unique 3D visuals.
As far as God is a Geek is concerned any and all new games are welcome on the 3DS, so take a look at the trailer for Doctor Lautrec and tell us what you think.
