Xbox LIVE Arcade Awards Winners 2010 Announced

Every year, Microsoft put together an awards list based on the most popular and most downloaded games of 2010 over Xbox LIVE Arcade. The winners of the awards for 2010 have just been announced and it is clear to see that one game dominated proceedings, with Microsoft Games Studios’ own Limbo taking home four of the awards all by itself. Other winning titles were the crazily addictive PAC-MAN Championship Edition DX, extreme game show Monday Night Combat and perennial (pun intended) favourite Plants Vs. Zombies.

Here is the full list of winners:

· Best Overall Arcade Game: “LIMBO” (Microsoft Game Studios)

· Best Original Game: “LIMBO” (Microsoft Game Studios)

· Best Multiplayer Game: “Monday Night Combat” (Uber Entertainment)

· Best Solo Game: “LIMBO” (Microsoft Game Studios)

· Best Innovation: “PAC-MAN Championship Edition DX” (NAMCO BANDAI Games Inc)

· Best Graphics: “LIMBO” (Microsoft Game Studios)

· Best Classic/Remake Game: “PAC-MAN Championship Edition DX” (NAMCO BANDAI Games Inc)

· Best Family Game: “Plants vs. Zombies” (PopCap Games)
